This was a great event we put together! We rented a softball field, and added some flair to a typical kickball game by modifying the rules. A drink was to be in hand while playing so we supplied customized koozies to be used during the game and to be taken home as favors. Our friends enjoyed it so much that we are going to make it an annual game!

My goal of giving a gift or favor is that it is useful...cocktail napkins are a staple in my house - you never know when someone will stop by or drinks or appetizers. I think this is a great favor for a ladies happy hour, holiday party or even a garden party.
To "upgrade" your favor, instead of using themed paper napkins, purchase some nice cloth cocktail napkins and maybe monogram them. for each of your guests.

This is such an affordable idea for your next party. The wine cork can be used for place cards, seating cards and buffet labels. They would be a great addition to a wine and cheese party!

We attended the most adorable "potluck" childrens Valentine's Party.  The host asked each of the parents to provide valentines for the goody bags and a potluck buffet item. The children were treated to a party full of "Make your own valentines" and cookie decorating.

What a great way to celebrate Valentine's Day with your friends and their children. Set up a children's table with a cutting board and spatula at each place setting. Place icing and various toppings throughout the table and let the children decorate their own cookies. If you wanted to go the extra mile you could also provide aprons for each of the children. This is a sure way to keep them occupied while the adults have time to visit.

This Valentine is great for children and adults. Follow the Rice Krispies treat recipe, but don't stop there - you can add food coloring, candies and even press Sweet Hearts into the treat with a message. You can add a lollipop stick, package it in a cellophane bag and add some ribbon with a gift tag.

That's right - this post is specifically for my friends in Guam! Since we do not have the luxury of watching Super Bowl on Sunday evening...I thought I would put together a Super Bowl Brunch menu:
Quarterback Sack Sausage, Egg and Cheese Burritos, Hail Mary Honey Baked Ham, Coach's Chips and Queso, Pigskins in a Blanket, Field Goal Fruit Tray, Punting Potato Salad, Touchdown French Toast and most importantly - Spiked Lemonade and Bloody Marys!
